An exclusive, museum grade limited edition print release documenting the iconic Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso, reproduced from the monumental 1.5-metre original ink drawing by Australian draughtsman Jeesoo Kim.
Some projects are not planned; they are felt. When I first encountered the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso, it was an immediate gravitational pull. The quintessential Art Deco lines, the ingenious engineering of the flip mechanism, and the understated elegance of its geometry presented a challenge my pen could not ignore.
To honour this legacy, I embarked on a solitary, nocturnal pursuit—a 1.5 metre tribute to the "invisible" craft of horology. Working on massive 640gsm Arches cotton paper using fine-nib technical pens, every reflection in the steel casing and every minute hatch marking on the dial was rendered by hand over hundreds of hours.
In a moment of serendipity, the finished masterwork was discovered by Jaeger-LeCoultre and subsequently exhibited officially at the maison's own private brand event. This strictly limited print suite reproduces the micro hatching and tonal depth of that original piece with complete fidelity.
Each tier represents a strictly capped edition run. Once an edition is exhausted, the master digital files are locked and will never be reprinted.
